Project Management & Installation
Your project is in good hands with us – we provide excellent project handling to make sure you get good value for money.
Leave the rollout to us
You can leave all aspects of the project management to our experts. Each installation project will usually involve a project manager and several installation technicians. We will liaise with you about timing and access to the premises. For the rest, we’ll do everything to install and commission the equipment.
We’ll ensure that disruptions are kept to an absolute minimum and will oversee the whole process, so that you can concentrate on your business. All you must do, is to stock the shelves or move in!
We have secure, efficient, and well-managed warehousing to ensure that our cases arrive at your store in perfect condition. It also means you can get spare parts quickly when you need them. McAlpine Hussmann has warehouses in Australia, New Zealand and China and share logistics facilities with partner companies in South-East Asia, India, the Middle East and South Africa.

Account Manager Major Accountabilities
- Regular site visits across the country meeting store/building managers and local subcontractors nation-wide.
- 24-hour contact
- Build on the strong relationships with customers by providing regular reporting and meetings with senior customer personnel.
- Work with Service branches and sub-contractors to provide support and guidance to ensure increased service standards are met.
- Promote correct Health & Safety procedures and reduce workable reportable accidents to zero for all service departments nationally.
- Identify, quote and advise of equipment upgrade and replacement parts.
- Proactively work on reducing service calls, store downtime and cost in customer stores/buildings by education of our engineers and smart work practices including new technologies
Our specialty manufacturing division in Tauranga offers Design, Development, Manufacturing and Testing of refrigerated and heated display merchandisers.

One of our great strengths are our ability and willingness to work with our clients to develop custom systems that respond to and provide solutions for specific needs, with advanced design, performance and styling. We start by listening to your needs – and the desires of your shoppers – to develop a fresh retail experience that will generate more sales in your store. The process then involves comprehensive Cross Section Drawings and careful consider for end users. Working with you every step of the way, a 3D image is then created and once confirmed, a prototype is built and tested to ensure it meets our high-quality industry standards. Once testing is complete the finished product is packaged up and installed for operation.
Our Tauranga R&D centre is a central hub for design, development, manufacturing and testing, specialising in innovative hot and cold merchandising solutions, for the Oceania region. Our Tauranga facility is 3,400m2 and provides full design and rapid prototype development within the onsite test laboratory before transferring to our high-volume Suzhou manufacturing facility for mass production.
The Tauranga facility has a range of capabilities such as the ability to produce sheet-metal, injection foaming, powder coating, electrical requirements, refrigeration needs as well as carpentry works, product assembly, storage and procurement.
